The Institute for Foreign Affairs and Trade (IFAT) conducts research on international and foreign affairs under the supervision of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade. Monitoring international relations requires diversified qualifications and knowledge as it embraces international politics, international law and international finances, the history of diplomacy and diplomatic relations, wars, terrorism and other dimensions of national security, world economy and foreign trade, international assistance and development, international organizations and institutions, transnational and (inter)regional associations.

The Institute operates with skilled, devoted and accurate analysts to support the leading decision-makers of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade. At the same time it is part of national and international academic cooperation and also provide insights to those interested in international affairs.
