CCG hosts Symposium on Think Tanks and China's Development
The Symposium "Think Tanks and China's Development: Transforming China's Think Tanks," was hosted by the Center for China & Globalization (CCG) on April 17, 2014. Top think tanks experts from within and outside of China gathered for the first time to discuss how to build world class think tanks. While doing so, they also shared experiences regarding think tank management and strengthening ties among these research organizations. Speakers at the symposium came from the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Development Research Center of the State Council of China, Chinese Academy of Sciences, China Center for International Economic Exchanges, Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, Carnegie-Tsinghua Center, Brookings-Tsinghua Center, Fung Global Institute, and the Center for China & Globalization.
The symposium was hosted by Dr. Huiyao Wang, President of the Center for China & Globalization, Vice Chairman of the China Western Returned Scholars Association (WRSA), and a Senior Fellow at Harvard Kennedy School of Government.
