On December 15, 2015, Professor Huang Ping, Director-General of the Institute of European Studies, met with Danica Purg, President of IEDC-Bled School of Management, President of CEEMA who participated in the Third High-Level Symposium of Think Tanks of China and Central and Eastern European Countries.

Prior to the meeting, Director-General Huang Ping and President Danica Purg were jointly interviewed by the English Channel, China Central Television on the theme of 16+1 Cooperation on December 14, 2015. 

During the meeting, both sides expressed their willingness on further cooperation. Director-General Huang Ping noted that there is much potential to be tapped on cooperation between the Institute of European Studies and IEDC-Bled School of Management. President Danica Purg expressed her appreciation on the invitation to attend the Third High-Level Symposium of Think Tanks of China and Central and Eastern European Countries. IEDC-Bled School of Management will become a member of the China-CEEC Think Tanks Network and promote the cooperation with the Institute of European Studies by making full use of its own resources and networks.
