On December 15, 2015, Professor Huang Ping, Director-General of the Institute of European Studies, had meeting with Ludmila Lipkova, Director of Faculty of International Relations, University of Economics, Bratislava. Dr. Liu Zuokui, Director of the Division of Central and Eastern European Studies were also present.

Director Ludmila Lipkova expressed appreciation for the invitation to join the China-CEEC Think Tanks Network, and formally accepted it. 

Director-General Huang Ping noted that in the past two years, the cooperation between the Institute of European Studies and University of Economics, Bratislava has been fruitful. Both side have jointly applied for and participated in the Visegrad Group Research Fund Project. The newly-established Network will provide a new all-weather cooperation platform, and both sides can benefit from it.

Director Ludmila Lipkova agreed with Director-General Huang Ping on the past cooperation between both sides, and expressed that the cooperation can be further expanded in the area of student exchange, publications on the journal of Faculty of International Relations, as well as the Visegrad Group Research Fund Project. Director-General Huang Ping agreed to further discuss these issues and promote the cooperation through the network. Both sides also discuss ways to develop and enrich the network.
